Welcome to the twenty-fourth day of my daily October posts! Throughout these next 8-days, I will be posting different spooky fun facts, tricks and treats. Today, I will be diving into M. L. Rio’s mysterious novella Graveyard Shift (2024)! Enjoy!
Now, I don’t usually do reviews like this, but I recently picked up graveyard shift by M. L. Rio, and I was blown away! I don’t want to give too much away as this is a newer novella by an author that I would love to promote—so I’m just going to give you guys the hook and hope that you check it out for yourselves! Graveyard shift surrounds five people who cross paths in a college’s cemetery to have a smoke between the school’s dormitory and the hospital wing on the other side. These five, although not related to one another in any way—one dark evening, come across a newly-dug hole in the ground inside the graveyard…
This eerie novella will be sure to give you the creeps and heebie-jeebies during this Halloween season. Make sure to read it from each of their perspectives to figure out the mystery behind who, when and why the hole was dug up… and did anyone see it happen??
Thank you for reading and make sure to come back for tomorrow's post!
Sincerely,
your 21st century poet <3
